Naira Marley Was Bigger Than Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy Before Scandal - VeryDarkMan

He made the claim while speaking on the dangers of cancel culture in a recent video broadcast on TikTok.

 
Controversial activist, Martins Otse, aka VeryDarkMan has made a claim.
 
According to him, Nigerian singer, Naira Marley was bigger than his colleagues, Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy, before he became a victim of cancel culture.
 
Recall that Verydarkman was among the first people to call for Naira Marley to be cancelled following accusations of involvement in his former signee, Mohbad’s death.
 
Just recently, he has started campaigning in favour of Naira Marley and Sam Larry.
 
Speaking in a Tiktok video, he stated that Naira Marley’s fanbase otherwise called, Marlians, were the largest fanbase in the country before the singer was “cancelled.”
 
VDM said, “Naira Marley was bigger than Wizkid, Burna boy and Davido. He had a very large fanbase both in Nigeria and abroad until this Mohbad issue. The music industry is so dark. The jealousy in the industry is too much.”
 
He urged the relevant authorities to conclude the issues surrounding Mohbad’s death so that the public can move on from it.
 
Recall that a court recently dismissed Mohbad’s father’s suit against Naira Marley and his associate Sam Larry, stating that there was insufficient evidence to link them directly to the death.
