Adeyanju
opined that the goal of any President should be how to return the pump
price of fuel to the N68 it used to be under the Peoples Democratic
Party (PDP).
Deji Adeyanju Popular Nigeriana activist, Deji Adeyanju has stated that the Tinubu-led administration has brought suffering upon Nigerians following the increase in petrol.Adeyanju tagged President Tinubu’s government as ‘renewed suffering’, mocking its campaign’s ‘Renewed Hope’ slogan. It was reported that filling stations are now selling petrol at prices around N500 per litre. This follows the announcement by Tinubu that the controversial fuel subsidy has been removed. In his reaction on Wednesday, Adeyanju opined that the goal of any President should be how to return the pump price of fuel to the N68 it used to be under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). “The goal should be for fuel to return to N68 per liter like under PDP when there was corruption and dollar at N180. This is renewed suffering,” he said on his social media handles. Adeyanju also blamed opposition parties for their refusal to unite towards unseating the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the last election. |
