Hungry Residents Descend on Decaying Whale That Washed Ashore from Atlantic Ocean in Cross River (Photos)

A dramatic incident has taken place in Cross River state after residents came out en mass to cut meat from the body of a decaying Whale that washed ashore from Atlantic Ocean.

A sad incident depicting the hunger in the land has seen residents of Ikuru in Cross River state rush out to cut the remains of a decaying Whale that washed ashore from the Atlantic Ocean in the state on Wednesday.

Many people who witnessed the incident couldn't but shake their heads as it was gathered that the remains of the animal might be poisonous for human consumption. However, the residents didn't care as they threw caution to the wind to cut parts of the animal for food.
