A sad incident has claimed at least five lives after a truck fell on a bus at Ojota bus stop in the early hours of Saturday.

At least five people have died after a truck fell on a bus in the
early hours of Saturday at Ojota area of Lagos. The sad incident caused
heavy gridlock all the way from Mile 12 as vehicles prefer following the
Iyanoworo express way.
Information gathered from the Lagos State Emergency Management
Agency, Lagos State Traffic Management Authority and policemen revealed
that the victims were coming back from a monthly vigil held at a popular
church in Lagos.
Emergency officials could be seen evacuating the victims. The bus was wrecked beyond recognition.
The incident happened around 4am.
“Five persons died while three passengers have been rescued and taken to a hospital,” an emergency official said.
