A young boy has been caught boasting about his s*xual escapades with his own teacher, causing problems for the woman.
The teacher was arrested
A female teacher was detained after a pupil was overheard bragging about their alleged s*xual encounter, Daily Star UK reports.
Assistant coach and consumer science teacher Rebecca Reeves, 33,
was charged with two counts of sexual activity with a pupil after a
week-long probe in the US state of North Carolina.
Reeves is said to have moved to Madison County when Southern Nash
High School, where she worked, found out about the alleged affair.
She was sacked when she did not show up at a scheduled meeting with
the school to discuss the accusations, the Rocky Mount Telegram
reported.
Officials then tipped off the Nash County Sheriff's Office.
The pair are said to have struck up a relationship last October when the teenager was 16, cops said.
Reeves was taken into custody in Madison County and she was
detained at Madison County Detention Centre, in Marshall, after a
warrant was issued for her arrest.
Reeves was later released on a $40,000 (£31,800) unsecured bond.
The student's mum told a local news source she thought her son may
have been joking and hoped the teacher didn't lose her position
unfairly.
Reeves will appear in court on Tuesday at Nash County Courthouse in Nashville.
