The principal actor in the assassination of former Federal Attorney General, Bola Ige has been revealed.

Kemi Olunloyo, the controversial daughter of former Oyo State
Governor, Victor Omololu Olunloyo has made a shocking revelation how
former President Olusegun Obasanjo orchestrated the assassination of
Chief Bola Ige.
She made the revelation on a number of tweets she tweeted today. "If I start to talk: "You don't know my DAD! He told me, driver & Gardner that his pal Obasanjo had Minister Bola Ige KILLED." she tweeted.
She further continued the allegation on her website, writing: "He
once blabbed loud in the backyard telling the driver and gardener how
Obasanjo orchestrated Bola Ige's murder in Ibadan and how Babangida was
behind Dele Giwa's murder. These past leaders have never been accused,
charged or convicted of these allegations but my father hasn't helped
the situation. I PASSIONATELY HATE MY FATHER!
This is what messed up Nigeria. A man that served 51
appointments in 56 years. I have always wanted to get into politics but
only after he dies. He cannot be alive when I'm in public office. I will
make his life miserable and he will end up collapsing. Hopefully by
2019 he will be DEAD at 84-year." she wrote on her website.
Chief Bola Ige was shot dead in his
bedroom in Bodija, Ibadan, home at about 9pm on December 23, 2001,
after he arrived Ibadan from Lagos at about 8.30pm. His security details
were said to have sought permission from the former Attorney General to
go and eat before the incident occurred.
The gunmen, who were said to have been
waiting in the vicinity, then stormed the house and tied up family
members. One of the gunmen reportedly pointed a gun at a family member
and asked him to lead them upstairs to Chief Bola Ige’s room. They
allegedly moved the wife and his son to an adjourning room, locked them
up before shooting their target in the chest.
