A Nigerian man living in Belgium, has shocked as well as amused many people at the airport when he came home recently.
An Instagram user identified as Kemi Daniels has revealed what happened to her uncle recently.
According to her, the man hadn't been home for the past 10 years,
so he didn't know that these Naira notes pictured above are now stale,
and he had bundles of them on him.
So he then went ahead to distribute the money at the airport
thinking he was giving people tips. However he got a shock when he
learnt that they were no more in use.
Below is how she told the story:
She wrote: "So apparently my uncle from Belgium hadn't been home more than a decade.
"He came home for Xmas with
bundles of these old 20s and 50s thinking he had Naija currency. In his
mind he was giving tips at the airport the joke was seriously on him.
