Nigerians
have blasted Ex-APGA Chairman, Victor Umeh after he went to Zamfara
State to be conferred the highest chieftaincy title in the state.

Some Nigerians have blasted former All Progressives Grand Alliance
chairman, Chief Sir (Dr) Victor Umeh OFR, following his acceptance of a
chieftaincy title conferred on him by the by HRH Alh Muhammade Makwashe
Isah (MFR), Emir of Shinkafi in Zamfara state.
The social media users are angry that Umeh who is a Knight of the
Catholic church could stoop low to receive a title from a people from
another religion.
Umeh was conferred with the highest traditional title 'Jagaban
Shinkafi'. While many in the whole of Shinkafi Emirate were jubiliating,
some section of Nigerians were not happy with the APGA chairman.
APGA leaders from Abuja led by the Abuja party Chairman, Hon Ebuka
Okoli; party leaders from Sokoto led by the Sokoto state party Chairman,
Mr Atiku Ibrahim; Niger state party leaders led by the state Chairman,
Alh Musa Aliyu Liman and of course the host chairman, the Chairman of
APGA, Zamfara State, Alh Bature Bungudu came out to celebrate with him.
Highlights of the event were special ovations and salutations for
Chief Dr Victor Umeh who the people eulogized for his landmark
achievements reaching to the nooks and crannies of Nigeria as well as
the robing of Chief Umeh with the traditional Alkibba and tying his head
with the Rawani among others.
