Four Simple Ways to Burn Off Fat Without Exercising

Many people want to burn fat without necessarily doing any exercise. Well, here is how you can achieve that.

Looking for a way to burn off that stubborn fat? Here are four simple steps you can take as provided by Dailystar.
1. Have a cuppa
A little caffeine kick can help boost your calorie burn for up to three hours afterwards, so put on the kettle and make yourself a brew.
Slurping down tea or coffee means you’ll drink yourself thin in no time at all.
2. Cool down
Step away from the thermostat and embrace the chill because keeping your home a bit colder helps you get trim.
According to a study published in the journal Diabetes, a cool house can boost your body’s brown fat by up to 40%.
Brown fat is a type of tissue that burns rather than stores energy and it’s activated by cold temperatures.
The brown fat starts to burn calories in a bid to help the body stay warm, even if you’re just sat on the sofa.
3. Get chewing
Popping a piece of gum in your mouth can do more than just help curb hunger pangs.
Researchers at the University of Rhode Island found that those who chewed gum burned 5-8% more calories than those who didn’t.
They also reckon it could help you eat around 70 less calories a day.
4. Stay zen
Being stressed out won’t help you get slim and it spells bad news for your body.
In an exclusive interview with Daily Star Online, MedExpress.co.uk health expert Dr Clare Morrison said: “Stress affects the best of us – whether you’re stressed with your workload, family life, or even situations going on around you that you have little or no control over.

“Whatever may cause it, stress can have disastrous effects on our mental and physical health.”
What’s more, calm people tend to work off 104 more calories a day so try and keep your stress levels to a minimum
