The woman identified as Gogo Mfeka Ngolova, has cried out for help after her son tried to kill her.

According to Daily Sun SA, sixteen years ago Gogo heard a baby crying in a field in Diepsloot, north of Joburg. She found an abandoned two-day-old boy, rushed him to hospital, and soon after adopted him legally.

But today she regrets ever adopting the baby boy. This was after he allegedly held a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her!

Gogo from Cosmo City, north of Joburg, told Daily Sun the incident happened on Friday morning.

“I was sitting in my chair when he came out of his bedroom. I knew there was a problem when he just passed me without greeting.

“He opened the kitchen drawer and took out a knife. Before I could even blink, the knife was against my throat and he threatened to kill me.”

She told the People’s Paper that her screams saved her.

“My neighbour heard me screaming and called out my name. He let go of me and ran out of the front door,” said gogo.

She said her well-behaved, nice boy started to change recently when he began hanging out with other kids on the kasi streets at night.

“Every night you hear the whistles of boys calling him. Those boys are not good.

“These days he always asks for money and when I don’t have it, he becomes angry .

“I couldn’t believe that he would do such a thing. I have raised him well but look at what he did. He needs prayers to change his bad behaviour.

“I just want him to come back home so that we can talk about this. I also want to get help for him.”

Neighbours expressed their anger at what the young boy allegedly did.

They advised the gogo to go to the cops, but she insisted that she’d rather find him help than let him go to prison
