Unknown gunmen suspected to be cultists has publicly killed a man on Wednesday in Obiagu area of Enugu State.

Some group of suspected cultists armed with assault riffles on Wednesday in the Obiagu area of Enugu State, riddled the body of a 20-year-old suspected cultist identified as Ayaka with bullets and reportedly escaped before the police arrived. 
 
An eyewitness who disclosed the incident exclusively to LIB, claim that guy they killed was also a notorious cultist, adding that sporadic gunshots in the area, disrupted activities as everyone ran for their lives while screaming and shouting. 
 
The source reported that when the heavily built gunmen about 10 of them, were done with the attack, they entered into two different cars, a Sienna and a Camry 2002 model and sped away after collecting another Camry from a man at gun point.
 
 
When calm was restored, people started going back to the scene where the shooting took place and saw the lifeless body which was thrown into a gutter as police arrived after some minutes after the shooting incident.
 
Ebere Amaraizu, the spokesman for the Enugu State Police Command, who confirmed the incident, disclosed that one of the gunmen was killed, while two others were arrested, in a shootout with police men.
