Kwara to Create 3,000 Jobs After Signing Mega Textile Deal with China

Former   Nigerian banker and now governor, Abdulfattah Ahmed has hit a milestone that will boost the economy of his state and provide jobs.

Kwara State Governor, Dr. Abdulfattah Ahmed recently signed a $56m deal with Mr. Shi Zengchao of Ningbo Jinsheng Star Importation and Exportation Co Ltd for the establishment of Kwara Chetex Textiles Industry at the 18th China Zhejland Investment and Trade Symposium.
 
This Industry is expected to create 3000 local jobs. This will be massive news for Kwarans and the Nigerian government especially at a time President Muhammadu Buhari is seeking to diversify the economy which largely survives on crude oil exportation.
